Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Whitewater Equestrian Center on the internet. This site is currently being updated, so please (bear) with us.

It is interesting  what you see and hear when you visit our area of natural beauty here in Western North Carolina. Some of our locals will tell you that paradise ain't cheep, well we want to introduce you to our area and let you experience the wonders of nature and the national forest. Hold on though, were not going to give you a cheap ride, we will give you an inexpensive ride and memories to last a lifetime. Please enjoy this site, we will be updating this winter, so hold on and gallop on back.

Directions:

From South Carolina: Take (Scenic) Highway 11 (this is exit 1 if your on I-85 from Georgia) to Hwy 130 North, Hwy 130 will magically turn into NC281 when you cross the SC/NC line. You will drive past Whitewater Falls entrance, 1 1/2 miles, go up a hill and when it levels off you will see a horse crossing sign, just beyond that Whitewater Equestrian Center will be on your right.

From Cashiers: Take Hwy 64 East, Turn right onto 281 South, at the BP Station/Sapphire Country Store, go approx 7 miles and we will be on your left.

From Asheville Airport Area: From I-26 exit at airport and go past the airport to Brevard, once in Brevard you will intersect with Hwy 64/276, continue onto Brevard, Stay on 64 West to Toxaway, you will see 281 North on your right, stay on 64, until you get to 281 South on your left, turn left, go about 7 miles and we will be on your left.

When you arrive, look for the plastic horse at the entrance gate.
